How long will my cloth nappies last?
The average stash size based on industry norms promote a healthy number of 24 nappies for full-time use (shells and inserts). These may be expected to last one child 2 years, or service more children based on a few factors.
Regarding the lifespan of your Bare and Boho nappies, here are some things to consider:
1) Whether you use our system exclusively full-time or part-time.
2) Frequency and Routine of washing.
3) Urine and feces acidity.
Are cloth nappies expensive?
Switching to a reusable nappy is actually much more budget friendly than continuing with disposables!
The average baby from birth to toddler, will require 6,000 nappy changes. With disposables this equates to costs averaging from $3500 to $5000 per child for nappies alone.
Reusables benefit your family by significantly reducing the overall cost, which can be further reduced when using other reusables such as cloth wipes, to compliment your nappies too!
What is the difference between a modern Soft Cover and a wipeable Flexi Cover nappy?
Our wipeable Flexi Cover is our original nappy cover that consists of a water resistant outer shell uniquely designed with our wipeable inner lining made from PUL.
Our Soft Cover feature a super soft suede which covers the inner lining of the cover, but also has the same water resistant PUL layer in between the lining and cover.
